Email and Public Notices

External Links

The Construction Authority permits the establishment of links to external websites on the Construction Authority's official website solely in conformance with this policy. In establishing and maintaining its official website, the Construction Authority does not intend in any manner to create a forum or other means by which public discourse, exchange of opinions, or discussion on issues of any nature may occur. Rather, the sole and limited purpose of the Construction Authority's website and permitted external links is to provide non-political and non-religious information of a factual nature about the Construction Authority including various services and resources available from and around the Metro Gold Line, or as may be available from other governmental agencies. To avoid any perception that the Construction Authority endorses or provides favorable treatment to any private person or business enterprise, no corporate or commercial logos or direct links to vendor sites are allowed. Consistent with the foregoing policy, it is the Construction Authority's policy to limit external links to other governmental agencies.

Regardless of the foregoing, the Construction Authority reserves the right to remove any external link if the nature of the organization or business to which the link relates no longer complies with the Construction Authority's external link policy or to revise this policy without prior notice when to do so is deemed to be in the best interests of the Construction Authority.

Construction Authority Website Privacy Policy

When you visit this site our Web server automatically collects your IP address. This address does not identity you individually; it is your computer's address, which tells other computers where to send data. The Construction Authority does not retain IP addresses in the ordinary course of business.

Under the California Public Records Act, email is within the definition of a public record and may be subject to public disclosure. This includes information we collect in a questionnaire or a guest book. Email is also subject to disclosure as part of the discovery procedure in a civil lawsuit. Should disclosure of any information be required, the information will be handled in accordance with the requirements of the law to ensure the greatest protection of personal privacy.
